The Bockmon Insurance Agency was founded in 1974 by Harthia W. Bockmon in Daingerfield Texas. Danny Bockmon joined the agency in 1976 and soon the Bockmons expanded the agency to Lone Star and Hughes Springs. In 1991 the Ore City office was opened followed shortly by the Longview office. In 1997 an alliance with Joe Redfearn and Joe Buford formed the Buford-Redfearn agency in Mt Pleasant. Bockmon-Green in Texarkana opened in 2002. This office was merged into the Red River Member Service Agency which is located within the Red River Federal Credit Union in Texarkana, Texas. The Waskom agency was purchased and the Marshall agency was opened in 2004. The agency's growth is attributable to the help of an excellent staff who prides itself in providing uncompromising service.
